Get help with the Flat Earth leveling system and companion app.
If you're experiencing issues with the Flat Earth sensor or companion app, we're here to help. Below you'll find answers to common questions and ways to reach our support team.
Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone, then open the Flat Earth app. The app will automatically scan for nearby Flat Earth sensors. Tap on your sensor when it appears in the device list to connect. The sensor's battery level and connection status will appear at the top of the screen once paired.
For best results, mount the Flat Earth sensor on a flat, level surface inside your RV or on the frame. The sensor should be oriented with the logo facing up and aligned with the length of your vehicle. Avoid mounting near heat sources or in areas with excessive vibration.
Try the following: ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device, make sure the sensor battery is charged, bring your phone within 10 feet of the sensor, and try closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, try toggling Bluetooth off and on in your phone's settings. Make sure location permissions are granted to the app, as Android requires this for Bluetooth scanning.
Ensure the sensor is mounted on a flat, rigid surface and is not tilted or obstructed. If readings seem off, try recalibrating the sensor by placing it on a known level surface and using the calibration option in the app's settings. Also check that the sensor is securely mounted and not shifting during measurement.
Ensure your device is running a supported version of Android. Try clearing the app cache (Settings → Apps → Flat Earth → Clear Cache) and check that you have sufficient storage space. If the issue persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app from the Google Play Store.
