Pine State Brands ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Flat Earth mobile application (the "App"), the Flat Earth Bluetooth leveling sensor (the "Device"), and the website pinestatebrands.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App, Device, and Site. Please read this privacy policy carefully. Information Collected by the App and Device

When you use the Flat Earth App in conjunction with the Flat Earth Bluetooth sensor, the App collects the following data from the Device:

Ambient temperature readings
Device battery level
Bluetooth connection status and signal strength

This sensor data is processed locally on your mobile device to provide real-time leveling information. Sensor data is not transmitted to our servers or shared with third parties.

Bluetooth and Permissions

The Flat Earth App requires Bluetooth permissions to communicate with the Flat Earth sensor. The App uses Bluetooth solely to receive leveling and temperature data from the paired Flat Earth Device. The App does not scan for or connect to other Bluetooth devices, and does not use Bluetooth to track your location.

Bluetooth communication between the Flat Earth sensor and the App uses standard Bluetooth Low Energy protocols. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

Account Deletion

If you have created an account within the Flat Earth App, you may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at contact@pinestatebrands.com. We will process your request and delete your data within 30 days, subject to any legal retention requirements.

Our App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the email address below so we can take appropriate action.
